Employees of Campbell County School District are subject to transfer to a different position within a building or within Campbell County School District when such a transfer is considered to be in the best interest of the school district. Each employee has the right to apply for any vacant position for which he/she is qualified.
Hourly shift transfers or intra-department assignment transfers are the prerogative of the supervising administrator. No other transfer shall become official until it has the recommendation of the Superintendent of Schools and approval of the Board of Trustees.
Educational support personnel transferring from a position in which vacation leave is earnable to a position in which such leave is not earnable will be paid for all unused, earned vacation leave at the time of transfer. No vacation leave will carry over to a position where an employee cannot earn such leave.
Educational support personnel transferring to another district position will have all applicable accumulated leaves transferred in an hourly equivalency so only actual time available may be utilized.
