After an employee has exhausted his/her family leave, he or she may submit a request to the Return to Work Committee for up to 14 weeks of medical leave. The Return to Work Committee will review each request and make a recommendation to the Board of Trustees for approval. An employee who is not eligible for family leave is not eligible for medical leave. An employee who is still on Workers' Compensation at the end of family leave will not be required to use all available leave prior to being placed on medical leave.
