Employees who misuse or intentionally damage district property may be responsible for the cost of repair or replacement of such property.
Keys/key fobs issued to employees are their responsibility. To maintain proper security of buildings and equipment, if a key/key fob is lost, the following steps will be followed:
- Employees will report lost keys/key fobs to their supervisor as soon as possible.
- The building secretary or designee will disable the lost key fob immediately.
- The maintenance department will be contacted to determine the need for re-keying.
- The cost of replacement and/or re-keying may cost up to $50 and will be the responsibility of the employee. Such costs will be determined and assessed by the District.
